The 2PEAK training is best suited for adults. It is recommended that adolescents under 17 years of age seek advice from their Doctor, or coaches, to adapt the plan. Before starting a training schedule, adults over 40 years of age are advised to consult a physician. This is to specifically check if there are any reasons as to why training at peak capacity should not be undertaken. In such cases longer exercises at peak level should be avoided. In any case the training should be managed with the aid of a heart rate monitor.
